He was also a member of the Conseil de perfectionnement of the \u00c9cole Polytechnique and was an examiner there from 9 October 1802 to 1814. A State Councillor in 1814, and subsequently a member of Parliament, in 1832 he was named a Peer of France. He published many works, including [Allent, Pierre Alexandre Joseph].
